COURSE INTRODUCTION

A creative path, level by level

Our Visual Arts program builds observation, technique and creative confidence across drawing, painting, sketching and design. Classes are grouped by age and skill level, so students are always working at the right level of challenge.

Beginner Comprehensive Art

Introduces core techniques across drawing, painting and colour theory.

Builds on foundational skills with more complex composition and media.

Advanced Comprehensive Art

Develops a personal style and portfolio-ready pieces.

Focused study of line, form, light and shadow.

Students received three gold, four silver and six bronze awards in The Monet International Art Prize, plus three awards in Concorso D'arte Internazionale per le Venezie.

Mihaela Banga

Mihaela Banga

FINE ART TEACHER

A Romanian-born professional artist and Victorian-registered secondary art teacher whose work spans realism, contemporary, abstract, painterly and impressionist styles. Her work has been exhibited internationally, and she has taught children and adults across Europe and Australia.

Debra Stam

Debra Stam

DRAWING & DESIGN TEACHER

Debra brings experience in secondary teaching, architectural drafting, interior and retail design, and TAFE education. Her drawing-led career gives students an applied understanding of line, colour, finish and design.

Irene Diaz Cebrian

Irene Diaz Cebrian

FINE ART & CREATIVE PRACTICE

A Barcelona-born multidisciplinary artist with a Fine Arts degree from the University of Barcelona. Irene also studied interior design, painting techniques, leather and jewellery, and has taught in schools and cultural centres.
